Ordinary Buildings.
Everything on a mine site is temporary until it isn't. Conventional buildings assume the site lasts forever — then the mine plan moves, and a stick-built shop becomes a demolition line item. Engineered fabric structures on ballast or pile foundations move with the operation.
Corrosive environments eat structures. Potash dust, acidic runoff and de-icing chemicals attack steel. Hot-dip galvanized frames with non-conductive fabric envelopes take the abuse that sheet-metal cladding can't.
Downtime is measured in thousands per hour. When a haul truck needs a warm bay in January, "the building will be ready in Q3" isn't an answer. We schedule around your shutdown windows and production calendar.

Mining FAQs
Can you work on an active mine site?
Yes — most of our mining work is on operating sites. We integrate with your permit-to-work system, schedule around production and haul traffic, and provide the daily safety documentation your contractor management program requires.
What foundations work on a mine site?
Ballast blocks, screw piles and sea can bases are the usual choices — engineered for local soil and wind/snow loads, with no cast-in-place concrete required. That's also what makes the building relocatable when the mine plan changes.
Can the building move when the pit advances?
Yes. Dismantle, transport and re-erection is one of our core services — the structure and most of the cover are reusable, and we handle the engineering for the new location.
How do fabric covers handle potash and chemical exposure?
PVC and PE membranes don't corrode, and hot-dip galvanized steel frames resist chemical attack far better than painted structural steel. For high-exposure applications we spec fabric weight and coatings to the environment.
